Aakash Chopra: Advice to England for the match against Sri Lanka

The journey so far in the ODI World Cup 2023 has been difficult for both the teams England and Sri Lanka. There is not much pressure of expectations on Sri Lanka. But the same cannot be said for defending champions England.

The two teams will clash in a very important game in Bengaluru on Thursday, October 26. It will be difficult for the team that loses this match to qualify for the semi-finals.

Former Indian opener Aakash Chopra said that if England wants to play cricket. So they should have a long batting lineup. He also said that Sri Lanka is not the best bowling side among the 10 teams. And he said that England should play with an aggressive mindset. The baseball system can only be enabled by playing long batting lineups.

South Africa beat you a lot and could not chase the target even against Afghanistan. So bat first. You can score 350 runs. Because Sri Lanka does not have Dushmantha Chameera and Wanindu Hasaranga. And now they don’t even have Mathisha Pathirana. The team is looking a little weak.
