
Former India batsman Aakash Chopra expressed concern over Pakistan’s poor top order. Pakistan has faced good and bad times in recent times. They were far from good in the warm-up games ahead of the Asia Cup 2023 and ODI World Cup 2023. Pakistan and Sri Lanka will face each other for the eighth match in Hyderabad on Tuesday, October 10.
Pakistan won its first game and defeated Netherlands. It was a tough game, but the top batting order is looming for Pakistan. The opening batsmen have not been able to perform well.
Speaking about Sri Lanka, Aakash Chopra said that the Dasun Shanaka-led team lacks experienced players like Wanindu Hasaranga, Dushmantha Chameera and Mahesh Theekshana.

Mahesh Theekshana returns in Pakistan vs Sri Lanka ODI World Cup match
Theekshana did not play in Sri Lanka’s first match against South Africa. Because he has not yet recovered from the injury suffered during the Asia Cup.
Sri Lankan captain Shanaka won the toss and elected to bat. They announced the return of Thekshana to the team in place of Kasun Rajitha. Pakistan, on the other hand, dropped Fakhar from the playing eleven and included Abdullah Shafiq.
