Aakash Chopra: The world won’t end if Bumrah doesn’t play seven IPL matches

Aakash Chopra, a former cricketer for India, recently shared his opinions on Jasprit Bumrah’s return to the Mumbai Indians (MI) and the team’s desire for him to stay in shape. Jasprit Bumrah’s ongoing back ailments have kept him out of competitive cricket for a considerable amount of time.

The World Test Championship, which will take place in June at The Oval, and the ODI World Cup, which will take place in India, are two major ICC tournaments that are coming up this year. To be able to compete in both of these significant competitions, Team India would want the 29-year-old to be in good physical condition.

Before you play for your franchise, you are an Indian player. Thus, the BCCI will intervene and inform the franchise that we will not release Bumrah if he experiences any difficulty. The 45-year-old claimed in an interview with Sportskeeda that nothing terrible would happen if he skipped seven games with Jofra Archer.

It was explained by the former right-handed hitter that Bumrah was formerly an Indian cricket player. He had a direct line to the BCCI, and no matter what course of action the BCCI took about his professional future, all other organisations were required to uphold its sanctity and adhere to it at all costs.

Chopra says Bumrah is a national treasure.
He continued by saying that if Bumrah missed a few games for his team, there was no need to make a big deal out of it.because it’s crucial that he stay in shape before serving India. Mumbai Indians will also need to follow BCCI rules and cooperate with them in controlling and monitoring Bumrah’s recuperation process.

But, you want to continue playing when you’re in shape since it will only help you get better. Because he is a national treasure and things aren’t as difficult to manage as they seem to be right now, I have no doubt that MI will take notice of it if BCCI intervenes “Added he.
