According to a source, India may play Asia Cup matches in the UAE rather than Pakistan.

Board sources claim that while Pakistan may continue to host the Asia Cup, India may be given the opportunity to play part of its games in the United Arab Emirates (PCB). If India advances to the championship match, the UAE would also host it, according to a Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) source. On February 4, Najam Sethi of the PCB asked that the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) convene an emergency meeting in Bahrain after the continental body released its schedule and Pakistan was not chosen as the tournament’s hosts.

More discussions on the hosting of the Asia Cup ODI tournament will take place outside of an ICC meeting next month, according to Sethi, who was speaking to the media on Thursday.
