
Titas Sadhu, a teenage prodigy from West Bengal, played a vital role in the Indian Women’s team winning the first Asian Games Gold Medal in 2023. She received the well-deserved award for Player of the Match for her recent outstanding performance in the U-19 T20 World Cup final game in South Africa, when she claimed two wickets for six runs. She took a total of six wickets during that event, continually showcasing her skill.
Titas made her Asian Games 2023 debut for the Indian team when they faced Sri Lanka in the championship game. She had a remarkable four-over session where she grabbed three wickets while only allowing six runs to be scored. Her excellent contribution enabled India to successfully defend their modest goal and win the inaugural Asian Games.
