BAN vs ENG : Match Prediction

On Friday, the second One Day International (ODI) between Bangladesh and England will take place at Mirpur’s Shere Bangla National Stadium (March 3). England won the first game to start the three-match series off with a critical 1-0 advantage. However, the home team put in a commendable effort while only allowing 209 runs to be scored against them, thus the visiting team had to work hard to win.

They achieved a respectable total thanks to the important 31 runs from Mhamudullah and Najmul Shanto’s 58 off 82. England struggled at 161/7 at one point after losing the first four wickets and scored just 65 runs. Yet with only eight balls left, England was able to chase down the goal thanks to Dawid Malan’s undefeated century while batting in the top order. Three wickets were taken by the comeback spinner Taijul Islam.Mehidy Hasan Miraz also scored two goals for the hosts’ 35 points.

Although Bangladesh has now lost four straight games to England, the game on Friday is anticipated to be close once more.
