Bangladesh’s newly hired head coach Chandika Hathurusingha has denied that any of the team players are having issues. Chandika Hathurusingha has been named as the new head coach of the Bangladesh national cricket team. Russell Domingo, a South African, relinquished the seat to him.
Bangladesh’s head coach for the past two seasons has been Hathurasingha. Prior to this, he led Bangladesh as head coach from 2014 to 2017. He occasionally fought with players that had greater experience during his tenure. After his allegation, Shakib Al Hasan received a six-month ban for misbehaviour.
When Chandika Hathurusingha was chosen head coach, Mashrafe Mortaza, a former captain of Bangladesh, was interested to learn more about the atmosphere in the team’s locker room. Hathurasingha said that he and the other players had no problems when asked about it by the local press in Bangladesh.

Chandika Hathurusingha’s first game for Bangladesh will be in the upcoming ODI and T20I series against England. England will participate in the three ODI and three T20I matches being played in Bangladesh. The event will take place from March 1 until March 14.

Bangladesh last competed at home against India in December 2023. Bangladesh lost the two-match Test series, however they won the three-match ODI series with a score of 2-1.
