Danish Kaneria took a dig at the Pakistan Cricket Board, Pakistan would be at a loss if they decided to forgo the World Cup.

Boycotting the 2023 ODI World Cup to be held in India, the Pakistan Cricket Board has threatened to pull out of the matches if the Men in Blue do not travel to Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023 in September. Why is India not touring Pakistan for the Asia Cup?

 

Because for the first time in 14 years, Pakistan is expected to host the Asia Cup in its own country. The reason for shifting the tournament from Pakistan is that the players cannot play well.

Pakistan does not have as much money to invest in the tournament and the money to bear its risk as much as India has because marketing is done with India, that is why this tournament will not be held in Pakistan. And it seems that they may have to bow down to the ICC.

And they say that if Pakistan boycotts this tournament, then it will not get as much business as Pakistan’s revenue and they will have to bear heavy loss which is very harmful for Pakistan.
