Deepak Chahar: Ready to make a comeback in IPL 2023

Indian all-round seam bowler Deepak Chahar is anticipated to return in the 2017 Indian Premier League, which kicks off on March 31. Due to two serious injuries, the 30-year-old was forced to miss six months of professional cricket in 2022.

The cricket star, who was born in Agra, had to recover most recently from a quad grade 3 rupture and a stress fracture. He made his final appearance for India in the second One-Day International match against Bangladesh in December 2022, but only for three overs before becoming injured.

Chahar represented India 15 times in 2022 but was unable to compete in the T20 World Cup due to an injury, although having just completed a full recovery. Following his recovery at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru,is currently preparing to represent the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.

According to ESPNcricinfo, Chahar said, “I have been working hard on my fitness for the past two to three months, I am fully fit, and I am prepared well for the IPL.”

I suffered two really bad injuries. The other suffered a stress fracture, while the first had a quad grade 3 rupture. Both of these wounds are very serious. Months of work are lost. Everyone needs time to heal from an injury, but rapid bowlers especially do. Being a fast bowler, it is quite challenging to get back on track when you have a stress fracture. If I were a batter, I would be playing well back. You might also notice other bowlers.suffering back issues,” he added.

To mark his return to competitive cricket, Chahar participated in his lone Ranji Trophy game last month, a First-Class encounter against Services. Chahar’s career has been plagued by injuries, which has stopped him from earning a berth on the national team. Still, he expects to be selected for the ODI World Cup later in 2023.

I’ve lived my entire life by the same rule. If I am completely bowling and batting the way I want to, there is nothing that can stop me. That served as the main principle that I followed to begin my career. I don’t care who plays, who doesn’t play, or what drives me. Aim to get completely fit and perform well with the bat and ball.If I do it, I will have my opportunities, he continued.
