
By surpassing his old teammate Ross Taylor to become New Zealand’s all-time leading scorer in the red-ball format, New Zealand cricketer Kane Williamson has written history.
Williamson accomplished this during the second Test, played against England, on Day 4 in Wellington. He continued from his overnight score of 25, which was 25, and it only took him one delivery to attain the milestone. Both the spectators and his team mates in the locker room applauded him.

Williamson, 32, who was playing in his 92nd Test, only needed four more runs to past Taylor, and he did so in the first ball of the day’s play. Williamson acknowledged calmly, raising his bat in the air in his signature manner.
Williamson has scored 7683 runs in tests. His performance has enabled New Zealand to lead the Test.as England begged the Kiwis to continue the game. By winning the Wellington Test, New Zealand will be fighting for its honour.
