On March 4 at the DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai, the Mumbai Indians women’s cricket side will play the Gujarat Giants in the opening match of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023. Beth Mooney, an Australian wicketkeeper batter, and Sneh Rana, who will serve as vice-captains, will head the Gujarat Giants. The MI squad, on the other hand, will be led by India captain Harmanpreet Kaur in an effort to emulate the achievements of the men’s team, which has won the IPL championship a record five times.
