The second T20 match of the three-match series between India and New Zealand will be played on Sunday, January 29, at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

The Black Caps won the first T20I by 21 runs, thus making an emphatic comeback after a humiliating 3-0 whitewash in the first ODI series.

The batting department, from the openers right through to the middle of the match, and some final flourishes from Daryl Mitchell at the last minute, propelled the Kiwis to put up a challenging total (176/6) on the board.
The Men in Blue must be looking to do some serious homework (planning), as they look like a team that is vulnerable, especially after winning the toss and making their selections. The bowling department was not very effective but mainly the batting department was completely at the mercy of the Kiwi bowlers. Hardik Pandya and co. Will definitely want to come back and be able to balance the series and take it to the final decision.

Possible playing XI for IND vs NZ 2nd T20I
India
Both the teams would like to stick to their respective playing XIs from the first T20 International. For India, Hardik Pandya would like to go with the same playing XI as the players have been good in their previous matches and all they need is some support.

Possible Playing XI – Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan (wicket-keeper), Suryakumar Yadav (vice-captain), Rahul Tripathi, Hardik Pandya (captain), Washington Sundar, Deepak Hooda, Shivam Mavi, Umran Malik, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh

new zealand
Looks like New Zealand have finally found their best XI to field so they will not want to break the momentum of the team and stick to their current squad to ensure that they win the 2nd T20I and clinch the series.

Possible Playing XI: Devon Conway (wk), Finn Allen, Daryl Mitchell, Mark Chapman, Glenn Phillips, Michael Bracewell, Mitchell Santner (c), Jacob Duffy, Ish Sodhi, Lockie Ferguson, Blair Tickner
