India VS Australia: Harbhajan Singh: Rohit Sharma is good batsman but ten times better human being

Harbhajan Singh, a former off-spinner for Team India, had high praise for Rohit Sharma, the captain for all forms. The 42-year-old claims that the Indian captain is “a terrific batter, but a 10 times better man.”

Rohit Sharma, 35, led India from the lead in the first game of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 series against Australia in Nagpur. He embraced the responsibility, came in first, and received a high score.

He began the innings by scoring an astounding 120 runs off of 212 balls, including 15 fours and 2 sixes. The captain’s performance helped India win the first Test of the four-match series against Australia by an innings and 132 runs.

Harbhajan Singh described their initial meeting in a video that was uploaded on his official YouTube website. He acknowledged that Rohit had previously sat behind him on the team bus. The former off-spinner said he could tell Rohit would develop into a terrific player the moment he saw him.

I’ve known Rohit Sharma for a very long time. He made his group debut at the T20 World Cup in South Africa. He used to sit behind me on the team bus. I vividly remember him speaking in a Mumbai-style, using words like “kaisa hai re tu” and “kaisa hai shaane.” Harbhajan remarked that he is a really kind man.

When I initially saw him, I believed he would flourish and emerge as one of cricket’s top hitters. He is currently the captain and a batter, as we are all aware. As a person, he is ten times more capable than he is as a batter, according to Harbhajan.

Harbhajan Singh asserts that Rohit Sharma has been the IPL’s most successful captain.
Furthermore, Rohit Sharma was lauded for his leadership by Harbhajan, who called him the most successful captain in IPL history. He went on to remark that Rohit and MS Dhoni are two of the finest captains in history.
