IPL 2023: Lucknow Supergiants with new jersey for mega cricket

The Lucknow Super Giants, one of the tournament’s newest franchises, presented their club uniform for the 2018 season as the 16th installment of the Indian Premier League (IPL) drew near.

For the unveiling celebration, the crew staged a fashion display, and to top it off, franchise stars attended. During the unveiling ceremony were Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan, Jaydev Undakat, Deepak Hooda, and captain KL Rahul.

Sanjeev Goenka, owner of LSG, Jay Shah, the BCCI secretary, and team mentor Gautam Gambhir were also present when the team unveiled its new uniform. The team’s uniform is dark blue in colour with red side stripes.will be hoping that as the competition draws near, the new jersey will provide much-needed luck to their team.

Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals will face off in Match 3 in what would be both clubs’ inaugural games in the biggest T20 competition in the world, which is set to start on March 31. The home and away format for the teams returns in the IPL in 2023 as well.

For the competing teams, maximising the favourable home surroundings and the crowd’s support could be crucial. Gautam Gambhir, the squad’s manager, thought about the same topic as he considered what might be crucial for the team coming into the competition.

Consistency, in Gambhir’s opinion, will be the key.the campaign. He emphasised the value of flexibility in response to various circumstances. Gambhir continued by saying that no matter where the team plays, the playing conditions will vary. The former Indian cricketer also stated that, whether playing in Chennai or Jaipur, adapting to the playing environment could prove to be a crucial element.

The Lucknow-based franchise was successfully acquired by the Sanjiv Goenka-owned RPSG Group for an astounding 7,090 crores. Also, they spent a lot of money at the super auction, bidding INR 17.0 crores and INR 9.2 crores for Marcus Stoinis and KL Rahul, two important players.
