In the 10th match of IPL 2024, Bengaluru will take on Kolkata at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Friday, March 29. This will be the second match of the season for Bengaluru to win. While Kolkata will play its second match of the season.
Bengaluru faced Punjab in its last match. And won the toss and bowled. Punjab scored 176 runs at the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. Mohammed Siraj and Glenn Maxwell took 2 wickets each for Bengaluru. Virat Kohli led Bengaluru’s batting with an innings of 77 runs off 49 balls. Bengaluru achieved the target of 177 runs in 19.2 overs. Virat Kohli won the Player of the Match award for his batting performance.
Kolkata defeated Hyderabad by four runs in its first match. Hyderabad won the toss and bowled and restricted Kolkata to 208 runs by taking seven wickets in 20 overs. Andre Russell emerged as the highest run-scorer and remained unbeaten on 64 runs off 25 balls. Kolkata bowlers restricted Hyderabad to 204 runs at the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Harshit Rana took three wickets for 33 runs in four overs and Russell took two wickets for 25 runs in two overs. Andre Russell from Kolkata team won the Player of the Match award for his batting performance.
