Mumbai faced Gujarat in their first match and won the toss and elected to bowl. Gujarat scored 168 runs at the loss of six wickets. Bumrah was the most successful bowler from Mumbai. And he took three wickets. Mumbai scored 162 runs at the loss of nine wickets. And lost the match by six runs. Rohit Sharma and Dewald Brevis scored more runs for Mumbai.
