Rajasthan Royals (RR) are set to face Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the fourth match of the ongoing 17th Indian Premier League (IPL 2024). This match will be held on Sunday, March 24 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur.
Sanju Samson-led RR failed to make it to the last edition. Because they were at fifth place in the points chart after Mumbai Indians. After winning the title in the inaugural edition, RR is yet to bid for a second title. RR reached the final for the second time in 2022 but lost by seven wickets against Gujarat Titans.

Meanwhile, for LSG, captain KL Rahul was instructed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to bat only as a specialist batsman. Because he has recently recovered from a quadriceps tendon injury.
KL Rahul opted to bat in the middle, taking inspiration from his performance during the ODI World Cup in 2023. Meanwhile, West Indies star Rovman Powell is expected to be selected as the finisher. Apart from this, fast bowler Avesh Khan, who was traded from LSG, is also likely to make his debut for the Rajasthan franchise.
