Shreyas Iyer, an Indian middle-order batsman, will play in the second Test against Australia in New Delhi for the Indian Test squad. After grabbing a 1-0 lead, India will take against Australia in the second Test at the Ferozeshah Kotla on Friday.
According to a statement from the BCCI, Iyer has successfully completed his rehabilitation following his back injury at the National Cricket Academy and has received the all-clear from the BCCI medical department.
Shreyas Iyer, an Indian batter who had been recovering from a back ailment at the National Cricket Academy, has been given the all-clear by the BCCI Medical Team. Shreyas will join the squad in New Delhi before to the second Test of the Mastercard Australia trip to India for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, according to a BCCI press release.
