Match Preview: India vs Australia, 2nd Test, 2023

In the first Test, Australia batted first and had their opening innings dismissed for just 177 runs. India answered with 400 runs, with Rohit Sharma scoring a superb century to lead the way (120). Australia was eliminated in the second innings for just 91 runs despite holding a 223 run advantage. For India in the game, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin both grabbed seven wickets.

Rohit Sharma is in charge of India’s Test series against Australia. Sharma was the team’s best run scorer in the first Test after accumulating 120 runs in a single game. Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja combined for a good 84 runs scored.

When bowling, Ravichandran Ashwin had the most wickets (8). Jadeja also grabbed 7 wickets, and Mohammed Shami claimed 3 wickets.
