Mujeeb Ur Rahman’s Quick Strikes: Two Wickets in Three Balls

Adelaide Strikers were dominant with the bat when Mujeeb Ur Rahman came to bowl his last over against Melbourne Renegades. In the 12th over of the match, Chris Lynn hit a four on his short ball but the spinner reacted well and took his wicket on the very next ball. The Australia international tried to clear the fence but failed in time as Tom Rogers took a sensational catch. With this, Lynn returned to the pavilion after scoring 56 runs and gave the much-needed start to Adelaide.

Mujeeb took another wicket in the same over. The 22-year-old took the wicket of Jake Weatherald on his last ball. The cricketer failed to time the ball as he went on the backfoot and eventually fell. With this, the Afghanistan spinner took his third wicket in the match as Adelaide scored 177 runs in the first innings.
