
The Indian team suffered a major blow in the match against Bangladesh in the ODI World Cup 2023 when top all-rounder Hardik Pandya got injured. Due to a sprained left ankle, he could bowl only three balls. After which he had to leave the field.
The injury occurred in the ninth over. Pandya had to leave the field with the help of support staff. Then Kohli bowled the remaining three balls of his over. Hardik Pandya came back on the field but did not bowl. He was not required to bat during India’s chase. BCCI said that Pandya will be sent for scans and only after the results come, a decision will be taken for the upcoming games.
Rohit Sharma said, he is feeling some pain. nothing to worry about. We will see in the morning how he feels. Then we will plan to move forward.
