ODI World Cup 2023: Steve Smith reveals technical changes

Steve Smith is considered one of the best players of modern cricket. He is one of the special players of Australia. Who is adept at playing spin along with speed. Hence the right-handed batsman was expected to make an impact during the ODI World Cup 2023. Which is being organized in India. However, his campaign did not start well. Because he scored only 72 runs in the first four innings.

Like legendary batsmen, Steve Smith went back to the drawing board. He worked hard in the nets and showed his class by scoring 71 runs in 68 balls against Netherlands in Delhi on Wednesday. Smith explained that using the traditional leg-stump guard and changing his grip from bottom to top helped him regain form.

Smith said, “I thought so.” That a few weeks ago I was batting well against India. I felt I was coming back playing the ball well on a very difficult surface.
