The Qalandars scored 200/7 in 20 overs when batting first, with Abdullah Shafique leading the way with a 24-ball 45. Islamabad responded by being dismissed for 90 runs in 13.5 overs. Rashid Khan and Sikandar Raza each grabbed two wickets for the Qalandars, while David Wiese claimed three wickets. Rashid, a renowned batsman for Afghanistan, added to the effort with a score of 18 off 12 balls. His innings featured a six and two fours.
