
Former Indian cricketer Sairaj Bahatule praised the bowling onslaught and said that the bowlers could succeed on any surface. Team India defeated Australia in the first test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2023 by an innings-and-132-run record. The hosts finished the opening game of the four-match Test series in three days.
The Australian batting squad struggled against the Indian spinners in Nagpur, as seen by the 177 and 91 runs that they were dismissed for in turn overs.
