Sairaj Bahutule Hints At Indian Bowlers: “We Have An Attack That Can Do Well On Any Surface”

Former Indian cricketer Sairaj Bahatule praised the bowling onslaught and said that the bowlers could succeed on any surface. Team India defeated Australia in the first test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2023 by an innings-and-132-run record. The hosts finished the opening game of the four-match Test series in three days.

The Australian batting squad struggled against the Indian spinners in Nagpur, as seen by the 177 and 91 runs that they were dismissed for in turn overs. Ravindra Jadeja, who was playing for the first time in six months, claimed five wickets in the first innings, and his spin bowling partner, Ravichandran Ashwin, also claimed five in the second. And as you are aware, the No. 9 (Axar) scored 84 runs and the No. 7 (Jadeja) hit a 70, proving that one could score runs if they put in the effort. Having said that, Bahutule claims that our strategy works on any surface.

India and Australia will play the second Test of their four-game series on Friday, February 17, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The World Test Title (WTC) championship game will be played at the Oval in England on June 8; if the hosts win this game, they will almost probably be guaranteed a spot in it.
