
Former India cricketer Sanjay Bangar mocked the Australian media for several incidents on the first day of the ongoing first Test match between India and Australia. Australia captain Pat Cummins decided to bat after winning the toss on Thursday, February 9 at the Cricket Stadium in Nagpur.
Mohammad Siraj took the wicket of Usman Khawaja on the very first ball of the second over of the innings. India went for DRS and ball tracking showed that the ball would have hit leg stump. After this Khawaja returned to the pavilion.
Sanjay Bangar said in response to other stories criticizing Indian players. that the Australian media is unable to understand. That’s how well India performed on the first day of the first test.
Talking about the first day of the Test match, Mohammed Siraj and Shami dismissed the Australian openers before the Indian spinners took charge of the game. Ravindra Jadeja took five wickets in his international comeback. And Ravichandran Ashwin took three wickets. Due to which the Australia team was all out for 177 runs in the first innings.
Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul open the innings for India. And when the captains dominated the game. So Rahul slowed down his game. And Rahul got out. India then ended on 77/1 at the end of the first day’s play with Rohit and Ashwin at the crease.
