Wasim Jaffer’s Funny Dig As Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin Shake Australia Batters

As India trounced Australia by 6 wickets in the second Test at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin had the time of their lives. The pair each took three wickets in the first innings, which saw Australia bowled out for 263 runs, before putting on an even better performance in the second. Australia lost their final nine wickets for a total of 62 runs on Sunday after resuming their second innings at 61 for 1. The Pat Cummins-led team was bowled out for 113 as a result of Jadeja’s seven-wicket haul and Ashwin’s three-wicket haul.

Wasim Jaffer, a former international batsman, took advantage of the occasion to poke fun at the Australian batting order as the senior Indian spin combination shook it. Jaffer posted a humorous meme on Twitter to illustrate how Australian batsmen might fare against the Ashwin-Jadeja tandem.

Regarding the encounter, India took an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the four-match series with to Cheteshwar Pujara’s 31 not out as the team easily chased down Australia’s 115-run mark.

Player of the Game was awarded to Ravindra Jadeja.

“I believe I was having fun while bowling. I like these wickets because the occasional ball spins and some stay low. My plan was to keep it straightforward and easy because I anticipated that they would play sweeps and reverse sweeps. I just intended to bowl into the stumps because I knew they were seeking for runs. I have a chance if they make a mistake. On this type of surface, don’t think the sweep is a good strategy against me, “Jadeja stated following the game.
