The 8th match of Tata IPL 2024 will be held on Wednesday 27th March between Hyderabad (SRH) and Mumbai (MI) at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Both teams lost their first match of the season and will be looking for their first win.
Hyderabad won the toss and elected to bowl against Kolkata in their first match. Kolkata scored 208 runs at the loss of seven wickets. T Natarajan was a brilliant bowler for Hyderabad team. Mumbai faced Gujarat in their first match and won the toss and elected to bowl. Gujarat scored 168 runs at the loss of six wickets. Bumrah was the most successful bowler from Mumbai. And he took three wickets. Mumbai scored 162 runs at the loss of nine wickets. And lost the match by six runs. Rohit Sharma and Dewald Brevis scored more runs for Mumbai.
